Positive 1-
The person who was the man that wrote the wonderful plays and poems that Shakespeare was credited for was a man by the name of Christopher Marlowe. Based on his history, his literary career, and the way he died makes me think that Christopher Marlowe was the one that wrote the plays and poems that Shakespeare got credit for.
Marlowe was born just two months before William Shakespeare was born. His father was a middle class merchant of Canterbury that was able to send him to King's School at a young age. Then when Marlowe turned seventeen, he went to Cambridge on a scholarship. After he got his masters degree, he went to London and started persuing his literature career. Since Marlowe was able to go to school at a young age and was educated throughout his entire childhood is one of the reasons why he thought of such magnificent ideas. Another reason why he wrote the plays and poems is because he was born around the exact same time William Shakespeare was born so Marlowe's wonderful work could have been mistaken as William Shakespeares since they were alive at the same time.
Marlowe became a dramatist for about six years. He was also credited for six or seven incredible plays that he wrote. Since Marlowe had a lot of years studying and being a dramatist, proves that he wrote the plays and poems. He was very knowledgeable about drama since he was in that field for such a long period of time. Another reason is because he wrote quite a few plays that were very spectacular, just like the plays and poems that Shakespeare was sadly credited for.
The final reason why Marlowe is the man that wrote the wonderful plays and poems is because the way he died. The way he died seems extremly strange. The way Marlowe died only became an issue in the 20th century. Maybe this is because people wanted Marlowe not to get credit for the plays and poems he wrote. On May 30, 1593, Marlowe was eating at Deptford with Ingram Frizer and two other men. Then men were supposibly fighting over the bill and Marlowe wounded Frizer with a dagger. Then, Frizer turned around and killed Marlowe with the dagger. Marlowe was stabbed over the right eye This could have been a reason to get rid of Marlowe just so he would not get credit for his plays and poetry. If Marlowe would have not been murdered, there would have never been any question on who really wrote the great plays and poems.
Christopher Marlowe is the man that should be credited for the wonderful things that he wrote. Based on his history, literary career, and the way he died is why Christopher Marlowe was the one that really wrote the plays and poems that Shakespeare is sadly credited for writing.

Negative 1:
Christopher Marlowe could not have written Shakespeare plays, and I have 3 very good reasons to prove it.

#1) Christopher Marlowe was a spy and would have had no time or interests in writing plays or poems.
#2) Christopher Marlowe couldn’t of written the plays or poems because he didn’t live in the exact times as Shakespeare.
#3) Christopher Marlowe’s death wasn’t faked it was real and he didn’t travel secretly to go and write plays under a false name.
POSITIVE 2
Marlowe was the one who wrote the plays and poems that Shakespeare has taken credit for. I believe that this is true because of Marlowe's education, the time he was born, and he had a succesful yet short career writing the plays and poems.
Marlowe was well educated. He had went to the king's school and was awarded a scholarship to corpi christi college. He was highly educated and defanatly had the ability to write such magnificent poems and plays.
Marlowe was also born two months away from shakespeare. So they could think the same about things because people think like their peers sometimes. Marlowe has the potential to write the poems and plays and this just helps prove it.
Marlowe had a career writing poems and plays that were very successful. Marlowe was the first to use blank verse in drama, but William Shakespeare soon followed his example to great acclaim. Marlowe was the first to use blank verse in drama, but William Shakespeare soon followed his example to great acclaim. That also shows that shakespeare followed Marlowe which means that shakespeare's stuff could of been written by Marlowe.
